New Malden's LOCAL website

Having heard that there also seem to be plans to develop another site in New Malden at the junction of Dukes Avenue and Howard Road (this will see the closure of New Malden Mini Centre), and with the current development of the site behind the High Street where Neds Car Repair use to trade from, and the current development of the Shannons Corner site, it seems time for the town planners to take stock of all proposed development plans in New Malden and be more proactive by independently asking the residents how much more development New Malden can stand as these developments push out long-established businesses and deprive local people of facilities that are not replaced and on which they depend.

There are also plans to redevelop 5-29 Coombe Road but that is covered in a different topic.

Does anybody know what is going to happen to the site. It is prime for re-development and who knows, someone could come up with something that improves the site.
