Thank you for your comment. We actually have a range of no-alcoholic fruit drinks that are very good value and we will always taylor these to childrens needs. We do not sell any manufactured fruit drinks because they are expensive and also full of sugar. Our juices are all made from proper fruit - and we can mix any amount of flavours.

Come in a try us and the first time you coem in the fruit juices are on us.

We are ready and waiting to show a range of films having just got our film license. My plan is to show interesting and diverse films. Do you have a particular interest?

Peter,

Just a little feedback now that your pub has settled into the community, and generally positive you'll be pleased to hear.

Food - Good quality even if a little pricey but you normally get what you pay for. Slightly larger menu would be appreciated. There's often 4 of us that come to eat and it's quite rare that everyone finds something that they really fancy.

Beer - V Good. Pricey again though. Similiar pints at Woodies about 50p a pint cheaper (which is a lot !).

Atmosphere - Generally relaxing. One of the barman told me that you were trying to discourage the "football types" in favour of the "rugby types" which in some ways I can understand. However, not all football fans are lunatics and many will be quite annoyed at the stereotype. I was in the pub one Saturday and you turned off the football that was on in favour of, well, nothing. If you decide on a blanket ban then I will be very upset if you change your mind during the world cup (for example) just to cash in !

Staff - Very Friendly and competent. No compaints at all.

Toilets - better than they were but in some ways the worst bit of all. Surely a decent over-haul wouldn't have cost too much? The old tiles simply painted is not a good look.

Outside - Very nice. I like the different types of seats.

Overall then I will be visiting regularly. I like the calming atmosphere and it's certainly a million miles better than the railway. Keep it up !

Matt

Thank you for your feedback.

We are still evolving and hopefully improving. Your comments on the menu are well received and we are actually currently changing it again.

I accept your point on the beer prices. It is a deliberate policy. I'd be delighted to talk you through what we try to achieve and also the cost associated with that.

On the other hand our wine prices are deliberately attractive and set at a standard mark up so you can drink some unbelievable wines at fantastic prices.

On the football I can guarantee we will never show any at any time. Even if Liverpool - I am a lifetime fan - are in the final of the Champions League or England are in the final of The World Cup.

We will let everyone know on those occasions that we are a football free zone - and funnily enough there seem to be a few people who are quite pleased about that.

Please keep on coming and keep giving us your feedback

Peter

This is a message for Peter Linacre. I have a letter ready with a complaint about The Glasshouse. I am not very happy at the moment. Where should I send it to? On The Glasshouse website it says the Manager is Buzz Cousins but I would rather send it to the owner...

Am I missing something here? Who is Mr Davis? Are you OK, Arkwright?

It would appear Mr Davis removed his post which does make mine look quite bizarre, I will now remove it so normailty resumes.

last weekend, my wife and I had a delicious three-course dinner at the glasshouse. We started off with a bottle of wine in beer garden, which has been really well done with the flowers and comfortable seating etc.

We moved to the restaurant and enjoyed three fantastic courses and finished off with liquors for her and an Irish coffee for me.

One tiny problem - the Irish coffee was stone cold when it arrived, but other than that, the whole meal, atmosphere and service was faultless.

Its about time NM had an establishment like this. We used to have to travel to Surbiton (Hart's Boat Yard is a favourite) or Wimbledon to get a good eating house, but no more!!

Can't wait to return!

Many thanks.

I invited some friends over specifically to try this place out on a Saturday night. We turned up to find a sign on the door stating it was closed for a private party. Hence I haven't been back since.
